About Us

Trinity Housing is a newly formed Housing Association through the transfer of engagements from Choice Housing Association and Corinthian Housing Association.  It was registered under the Industrial and Provident Acts in February 2007 as IP 391 and with the Department for Social Development in March 2007 as R53.

This initiative took place against the Government agenda to see the provision of social housing delivered in a more efficient and effective manner achieving maximum output in a grant reducing environment.

Trinity has adopted the highest values matching its professional but caring approach to the provision of a wide range of housing for elderly persons. It has developed award winning housing schemes for frail elderly and for those who suffer from dementia.  In addition, it has also developed considerable expertise in the field of design of accommodation for people with mental health illness and learning disabilities.  Trinity also provides general family housing.

Trinity is a charitable Housing Association existing to provide high quality housing and support services and is the parent/lead organisation to:

v    Trinity Developments – which exists to undertake development to further the aims and objectives of Trinity Housing.

v     Trinity Ireland – which exists to further the Trinity objectives throughout Ireland.

A Board has overall responsibility for the control of the Association and a dedicated structure of expert Committees also oversee and further the Association’s aims and objectives.  Trinity Housing’s Committee structure is as follows:

v     Property Services Committee

v     Finance Committee

v     Audit & Risk Committee

v     Housing Committee

v     HR & Remuneration Committee

Board and Committee members have a wide range of experience in a number of different fields and members give voluntarily of their time and expertise.
